Cessena Caravan C208B EX PFD Issue

Hi everyone.

My issue is when I start up the C208B EX about a few minutes after I start it up and everything is running fine the PFD AND MFD screens turn off the just go blank as if they have been switched off. Nothing has changed and if I revert it back to cold and dark set up and then start it they turn off then a few minutes later shutoff?

Does anyone know what's going on? I have tied the avionics switches on and off and nothing

Hello after my recent thread i now have the GTN750.

 

Now i need to know which one to get.

 

Regarding the CJ2 and S550 = They seem to have different character but very similar specs

 

I fly exclusively on Vatsim with an average flight in the 300-500nm range.

 

My RW experience with private jet's as a pax is limited to the citation mustang but that's just too slow especially on econ cruise hence why i'm not including the Flight 1 mustang which btw appears to be still a top release,

 

 

Questions

 

The FONTS on the CJ2 PFD/MFD look really tiny and difficult to see can some one confirm this?

 

I've heard about the Eaglesoft XLS do you think i should wait? do you think it close to release?

B1900 x-plane user guide

So I purchased this aircraft today. I have searched the files for an user guide but I cannot locate the guide. I can't figure out how to load fuel. I know that this sounds lame but this is my first Carenado purchase. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Pilatus PC-12, Where Is Everything?

I just purchased Carenado PC-12 for FSX.

 

I previously owned their PC012 for FS9

 

I really need a  pilot operating handbook for this aircraft. I've been playing around with it since I got it about 3 hours ago, and have only discovered a couple of essential things pursuant to flying this beast. I understand that this FSX version has a lot of newy-newy, stuff on its' operating system, but I can't find such instruments such as radio frequencies selection, NDB selection.

 

I am not afraid to display my ignorance here, but . . . the aircraft I downloaded is plain vanilla White paint job! (livery I think it is properly called.)

 

So: Can anyone point me to somewhere  where I can get a pilot operating handbook and where I can get a paint job? I would sincerely appreciate it.

When I try to enter the "FlightPlan Creation" example I get a "Discontinuity" message every time I try to enter the first airway waypoint. (V55)

GTN 750 In Seneca II

I decided to dust off the old Seneca II and give it some new life by adding  the lovely and wonderful GTN 750 from Flight 1.  This GPS has literally transformed my VFR flying experience especially flying around the PNW with Orbx sceneries.  Here are the mods in case anyone is interested.

How would I go about adding Flight1 GNS 530/430 to Carenado/Alabeo Planes

With this release these http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=f1gns those of us who fly planes in P3D that can't fit a 750 in the panel can now enjoy a fully functioning 530 or 430,the issue is how do you install them into the VC? Can you use the RXP installer then just change the gauge in the panel.CFG to the flight1 product?

Here's the GTN 750 mod for the Mooney 201.  I'm not sure why the unit in the VC isn't as bright as the Pop-up unit.  Maybe if Bert or anyone else can chime in that would be great.  Also Bert, I did make sure I spelled gauge correctly this time :wink:

Carenado CJ2 and Pro Line 21 problems

Dear,

I would like to know how to see the estimated fixed on each route with FMS and Pro Line 21 equipped in Carenado C525A (CJ2). I looked at several tutorials on the internet without successful results

 

Another problem is that obervo weather radar works only when the aircraft is on the ground and off to a certain altitude. Then stabilized route does not detect the CB's.

 

My aircraft does not work TCAS flying online on IVAO.

 

When flying with VNAV and engage FLC the aircraft gives a lurch down and then recovers the pitch.

 

In this FMS when flying DCT for a fixed remains entire route flown already drawing a line to the fixed starting from the origin airport and then the line goes to the set to be flown DCT. You can only fly to a DCT fixed with this FMS to delete all previous fixed route. And yet the aircraft flies DCT this fixed chosen however no line connecting the position of the aircraft to the chosen fixed. Is it right? In real aircraft it is so?

 

 

Someone has gone through these questions?

How to contact Carenado Support? (Ticket support not working)

I'm a long-time Carenado customer and I'm trying to contact them via their online support ticket system (https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us). Unfortunately their system is unresponsive--it won't accept my existing support account login nor allow me to create a new one (though in each case it tells me that it's sent me an e-mail, and I do not use a spam filter). 

 

This is frustrating. Any other way to contact Carenado?

Piper PA28RT Arrow IV Flight Model Issues

I purchased the PA28RT Arrow IV via the STEAM DLC.  The Vr speed for rotate according to the  A/C manual is 65 - 70 knots (depending on weight and conditions)  I just did a take off roll and I couldn't get off the ground until I was at 110 knots.  I have flown this A/C and know that can't be the case.

 

Am I missing something?

Hello

 

Carenado CJ2 Support

Carenado makes good Sims by reputation but tech support is not that supporting

 

I am so frustrated with the CJ2. I installed in P3D v3.4 and FSX SE and I am unable to fly it simply because data base is not loading in FMC. It is hanging there forever in both sims.

 

I tried a user recommendation by disabling security permissions- no go
I uninstalled-reinstalled the sims multiple times with antivirus software disabled - no go
I updated to Navigraph Cycle 1602- no go.

 

There must be something the tech team can figure out and issue a guide line for resolving problems.

 

Anyone out there has encountered this problem and has a solution

SHIFT+1 Window

I apologize in advance if this has been asked and answered, but when I press shift+1 to open the GPS I get a reduced cockpit with it.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to correct it without luck and have also tried editing the [Window00] data.  Still no success.

 

It's been a while since I've flown the C337, but I don't recall this being an issue a few years ago, but then a few years seems to be farther than my memory extends these days..

 

Is this normal, or can someone offer a suggestion on how to correct this and get a full size cockpit.  BTW, this problem doesn't plague shift+2, +3 or +4.  I'm running a 1920 x 1200 monitor.

Conquest low cruise speed

I cant get more than 250 kts (ground speed)  at 22000 ft...Both the F1 and the Flysimware Conquest do 300 kts.

 

Any ideas?

Carenado & Alebeo fail at avionics master switches

I am appalled by the amount of Carenado and Alabeo A/C that have no avionics master switches. If you start cold and dark then you have to use keyboard short cuts. In my case, I added a generic default avionics master to a pop up window. This is a silly way to fix a $40+ payware aircraft like a Phenom 100.

 

I sent them a message about it and they just gave me a generic answer like they've never heard of an avionic master switch and it wasn't an important enough to issue updates. Do you suppose they have any real pilots consulting?

 

What a shame.

Ready to throw the towel with the CJ2

Hello 525CJ2 Fliers

 

I have the Carenado 525CJ2 installed in P3d v3.4

 

I have no problem starting the Aircraft and progrmaming FMS for a flight with SID and STARS. Flight plan controlled by FMS1. Speeds checked OK

 

I have a problem keeping this plane flying from Departure to distination

 

Shortly after takeoff aircraft climbs OK for few minutes after AP ON and  NAV and VNAV ON

 

VS goes from programmed 1500 to 5000 to 7000 and even higher and speed is reduced to stall and aircraft shakes like crazy

Pressing VS ON,  ALT goes ON and Ascending stops,  VNAV goes Off

 

Pressing ALT to Off VS goes off - Pressing VS ON ALT goes ON

ALT resets itself to lower Altitude. Lets say I set at 10000 initial climb it sets itself to something like 2000

 

I do not understand the logic of the Proline 21 MSP at all.

 

I fly all the PMDG aircrafts from 737 to 747, to 777, Aerosoft Airbus, Real Air Duke etc. No Problems whatsoever

 

I just wanted to fly Business jet for change

 

I watched some video tutorials and get excited, try again and fail. what am I missing?
