At full throttle I cannot get above 20 inches manifold pressure. The speed on climb is around 80 and drops steadily until the aircraft exceeds specifications. Any ideas?

C182 - No Gauges or Radio Stack
I am new to flight simulation and have just purchased and installed my first FSX add on aircraft, the Carenado C182 Skylane RG. When loaded in FSX the gauges are black and there is no radio stack. I have checked the Airplane folder and all the C182 folders and files seem to be present (Model, Panel, Sound and Texture plus Aircraft.cfg and pdfs etc.
FSX is loaded on my F: drive F:\microsoft games\Microsoft flight simulator X\simobjects\airplanes\carenado C182 RG
Any ideas please.
RXP 430
I looked in the other RXP 430 post and I was not able to find the data to install the RXP 430 into the VC of the C340 II. If anybody could assist me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
What's the best Carenado in the lineup?
Fully subjective impression or well laid-out explanation, it's up to you.
My favourites? JetProp! and TBM. First is super buggy, needs a ton of user fixes and feels extremely small in the cockpit. I love it! Don't know why. And the TBM comes in fast, expensive and with a very clean cockpit. Add the hum of the engine and the amazing details on the windows (scratches) plus the mandatory Bert Pieké fixes to receive a winner.
Customers don't go by the numbers but by their irrational nature. Carenado surely knows.
Manifold Pressure
Is there any known issues with the manifold pressure in cold weather? I just purchased an A36 on FS Economy and I am using the Carenado A36 yet when flying it through Alaska I have an issue where my fuel pressure drops and my manifold pressure slowly drops until it is completely gone making me lose airspeed. At first I thought I might have done something wrong or not followed a step on the checklist but after going through everything I had followed the checklist perfectly. My next theory was that maybe FSE was doing something to the airplane because I had a maintenance issue with mine, so I rented another A36 and flew that just fine.
My last theory was that it was weather related. I fly using AS 2012 so I have real world weather. The temperatures in the part of Alaska I'm flying in right now are about 1C with a dew point of 0C, there is pretty low cloud cover and light snow. I rented an aircraft in Texas where it was very hot and the weather was clear (still using AS) and no problems came up. Is there some kind of weather limitation to the A36 that I'm not aware of or is there a procedure I'm not following?
Longitudinal Stability
I really like this plane but on my system, the longitudinal stability just seems not right.
The altitude indicator and the rate of climb indicator are always shifting much too rapidly. ex: The plane can start an assent from 0 to 1500 ft per minutes in a fraction of a second. Then if I push on the yoke, he will start a descent in less than a second also to the maximum descent rate. I'm always chasing the altitude and the plane react as if it has no inertia at all. Just seem wrong even if I haven't flown C337 in real life.
I have a CH product yoke and I adjust my axes with FSUIPC. All my other airplane are stable but only this one is overreacting. I have put a slope adjustment in FSUIPC that ensure a minimum response while in the middle of the yoke elevator range.
I have reduced the Elevator_Effectiveness from 1.0 to 0.7 in aircraft.cfg which improved the stability but still the altitude is shifting much too rapidly.
Any idea on the next step to improve further?
Transitioning to Prepar3d
I've had the Baron for FSX for some time now. I am planning on getting Prepar3d in the near future. Is it legal to instal my copy of the Baron into Prepar3d or to meet the letter of the law would I be required to buy another copy? How about if I uninstalled it from FSX then installed it into Prepar3d? I guess another question I should ask since I'm asking them is since I bought my copy of the Baron before it was officially Prepar3d compatible (at least listed that way on the Carenado site) can my copy even be installed into Prepar3d? Thanks for the info.
F33A FS9 Hotspots
I get an odd problem with the mouse hand hot spots. These work fine until I undock a 2D window e.g. GNS and drag it to a second window. The mouse hand hotspots work on the undocked window but revert to the default arrow on the main window.
I've tried undocking the GNS, dragging it back and closing the window, and all permutations of this. The only way I can restore the active mouse hand on the main screen is to reinstall the aircraft.
I run FS2004 in windowed mode (XP Pro) with two side screens for popup panels, FSNav etc. I've checked it with AV disabled and active weather off. I do not use mouse look or mouse yoke and I have no similar problems with other aircraft in FS9 - including other Carenado planes.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this I'd be grateful for advice.

Blurry textures with new paints!
Hi Guys,
Is it just me or is this happening to others? I have noticed that since Carenado's CT182T my scenery (ground textures) seem to take a little longer to focus/sharpen up!!!
I have in my Carenado hanger: CT182T, B200, SR22, CT206H (steam only) and C208B EX. It only happens with these aircraft??? All of my other aircraft (and there are a few!) do not seem to do this to my scenery. The condition is like when one fly's a fast jet low over their scenery and everything becomes blurry.....
I have noticed too that it is much worse with the G1000 cockpits. I have been thinking that it may be their new "HD" textures and with the new G1000 -which was a frame rate killer until they fixed it- may be adding to it too?
Could some others please check on their end and let me know if its me only? Thus if so maybe an idea to rectify my issue?
Kind regards.
Tim...
C208 VERSIONS
Does anyone know which product the guy in the above video uses? I have the Carenado C208B GrandCaravan HD Series 8 for FSX but the c208 shown in the video has more functions and useable switches than mine.
E.g.:
My propeller lever can not be set to the 'feather' position.
Of the 3 test switches in my aircraft only the black one in the middle works, the white on the right side and the red on the left side are not animated.
My fuel boost switch has just two positions, the one in the video has three as it would be in reality.
What aircraft is used in the video. Any idea?
Thanks for help.
ADF in the Carenado Seneca II
Hi everyone,
I recently bought the Carenado Seneca II, and overall I am quite happy with my purchase. Unfortunately the Seneca does not come with an RMI. As was discussed in other topics on this forum I tried to replace the ADF Gauge with the basic RMI from the stock Baron. Now I also am flying the RealAir Duke, and their gauges are second to none. I would love to replace the Carenado ADF Gauge with the Realair RMI, but I have no Idea on how to accomplish that.
Also: Is it possible to switch the ADF Radio out for another Radio? Again the ADF Radio in the Realair Duke is really working just like the real Thing! I need to fly the Seneca for training purposes, but I really enjoy flying NDB approaches - with an RMI that is. Basically I want the functionality of the RealAir RMI, and the RealAir ADF Radio in the Carenado Seneca.
An Alternative would be to buy the Reality XP Gauges, but I would prefer not to do that. Has anyone tried replacing Carenado Gauges with RealityXP gauges?
Update of GNS430 in C340
That GPS, installed in C340, does not work properly, the Instructions Manual has nothing to do with it. Is there some update for this device??
Thanks
Startup 182RG
Hello All !
Using the Saitek Swith panel, I can't get the engine to start, only when I'm using the mous will start the engine.
Any idea ??
Thanks in advance

Can you use a C210M POH on the CT210?
Question as simple as that. Found POH for many Cessnas at: http://www.redskyventures.org/free_stuff.php
And there is only one for the non-turbo M-variant (C210M)
Why I ask? Just found a discrepancy on the Carenado's supplied document and this POH: VLE (Maximum landing gear extended speed) is 195kt on Carenado's Reference and 140kt on the C210M POH.
Any light on this? If you help mme, i MIGHT make a damage mod for this wonderful plane.
Thanks guys!!!
C340 Panel lights issue
Hi all,
Something similar has likely been talked about elsewhere in another aircraft's specific forum, but if so I haven't located it yet.
Got a weird problem in my C340. As it got dark outside, my digital fuel flow gauge and the GPS screens went black on me. They're still running, I just can't see them; com frequencies still switch as normal, at least by clicking on the ATC pop-ups. And the Shift1 pop-up still brings up the 2D GPS, but since the AP doesn't seem to "tune" to that GPS, it's basically a glorified map.
Also, (and ultimately more of an issue), when I turn on the main panel lights, my textures go all transparent! Just a bunch of knobs hanging in space.
I remember seeing something like this AGES ago, when I first hopped in FSX, but that was years ago. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Caravan livery issue
Hi! I just bought a Carenado Cessna Caravan for FS2004, and its lovely, butIi'm having an issue with installing liveries. When I download a livery and name it Blue Excutive and replace the old one, but when i try to start the caravan in sim, it crashes. What's the problem?
G500 MFD Frozen
Forgive me if this issue has already been addressed, I am new to these forums and also new to this aircraft. I've only been flying the Malibu for a couple of weeks and it is a superb aircraft. The main reason I was interested in it is for the avionics, namely the G500, which is really unique. I seem to be having a problem with it however. During the first 5 or 10 minutes of flying the aircraft, if I have anything loaded in the G530 (non reality xp version) and the MFD on map 1 page, the moving map will freeze until I switch pages, or views, or change the range or something. This seems to happen both in the VC and 2D version of the panel. I can't pinpoint any one thing that causes it to freeze, it seems to be random several times within the first 10 minutes. After that, it doesn't seem to have any issues.
I have downloaded the updated version that was in the file library, and it still is having these issues. I've also reinstalled the aircraft a couple of different times with no affect. If anyone has any suggestions or probable causes/fixes, it would be greatly appreciated! This really is a great aircraft, its just frustrating when the MFD freezes on final approach!

Update current aircraft?
I don't know if there are any Carenado guys (or girls) on here but was wondering if you would consider re-doing some of the older releases?
I don't mean fully re-engieering, i like the way they fly already but rather add some of the finess that we are seeing on the later releases put on the loder ones.
By way of an example - i love the windscreen scratches which move dependant on where the sun is on the Tomahawk (I know its ALABEO). Could we have that on the C152, PA-28's. Could we have a black cockpit on the C152, PA-28?
I love the 'feel' of Carenado planes and would love some further finess.
Any chance?
PIREP - Any of the new FS9 planes decent ?
Haven't been around in a while - as someone who has maintained a love/hate relationship with Carenado products over the years - are any of the "new" FS9 planes worthy of consideration ? The Cherokee 180, the Skylane RG, Mooney 201J, and the Cessna 206 are the ones I've been pleased with... We all know the visual models are unsurpassed - so I'm more interested in BUG/FDE reports...
Regards,
Scott
Prepar3d V 2.0 and the A36
Hi,
I notice that Prepar3d when released on 25/11/13 will have the Carenado A36 shipped with it.
Is this the exact version that we all purchased or a scaled down model and to get all the features we install the payware version.
